Barbara Ann moved to Lorne Park (now part of Mississauga), Ontario with her mother, father , sister and brother in December of 1952. Barbara Ann married Brian Allen on February 25, 1967. They had three children: Stephanie, Glenn and Brent.

Barbara Ann’s ashes are interred with her mother, Jemima Broach (Campbell) Scott and her father, William Charles Scott. Part of her ashes were taken to Scotland and scattered in the family plot at the Greenock Cemetery.
